Who we are and why we're here...

We are not here just to sell you a product like so many on the net. This ministry and business came about as a result of my own health struggles. I had brain surgery (right craniotomy) January, 1997 and sinus surgery a month before that. I was diagnosed with a rare auto-immune disorder called Neurosarcoidosis. After the brain surgery I knew what it was like to be bedridden and not have any strength at all! I couldn’t even lift up my arms to wash my bald head. I couldn’t lift my legs over the tub in one of our bath/shower combination to take a shower in the house we use to live in sunny California. I couldn’t do anything. I had no strength. All I could do was just lie in bed. This was not like me. I was so frustrated and discouraged.

The doctors put me on 40 mgs. of Hydrocort, and then 80 mgs. of Prednisone a day. My kids use to call me FrankenMommy! I gained over 70 lbs. in 6 1/2 months. I developed Diabetes Type 2 after the weight gain...not to mention absolutely no hormones due to the sarcoidosis affecting my pituitary gland. So I know the struggles that many of you go through. I can tell you though there is hope in the Lord! I thank God for showing me a better way of eating and getting healthy. I thank God for Barleygreen too! I now live an active life, have lost 104 lbs. and want to share the good news of living healthier and all about the benefits of Barleygreen. So many have tried to copy Dr. Hagiwara's product, but his product still remains to be the best in the market today.

Oh my! I just noticed... take away the ears on the picture and it looks like a baseball! How funny...
